One Hectare of prized fruit sourced from Ross McMurtrie on McMurtrie Rd McLaren Vale, the foot of The Range which provides a nice area for warm summer days and cool nights from the sea air, a true example of a Mediterranean Climate which this Italian varietal loves so much. Phil was clever enough to find this special parcel of fruit, that we then turned into a small batch of Sangiovese. Fermented in a one tonne open tank, basket pressed and aged in seasoned American hogsheads for 16months. Why?? To provide you with a little bit of Italy from our own backyard.

Colour: Hazy Purple
Bouquet: Honey, Violets, Red Plum and Cedar
Palate: Black Cherry, Black Currant, Cranberry with hints of Dark Chocolate.
Cellaring: Drinking well now until 2025
Winemaker: Phil Christiansen
